JV Baseball Junior varsity baseball played on Tues., April 7 at Polk County against Chesnee was won by Chesnee 6-0. Polk County had three hits. Jason Wilson had a triple, Die trich Bradley and Brian Gro- chowski each had singles. Coach Jeff Wilson said of the game, "Offensively we had some chances but couldn't get anything across." Pitching were Shannon Hudson and Walter King. "King did an excellent job in relief," the coach said. Leading the defense was Shannon Hudson and Chad Fisher. Coach Wilson also stated that "Overall, it was one of our best games of the year." Polk County's record is four wins and six losses.
